Craft Day #1

This is the changing table.
I love that it has drawers and cubbies, but I knew when I bought it that I would try to find baskets for the cubbies to try and keep the diapers, wipes, ect. handy but uncluttered looking.

Finding baskets that fit (and didn't cost $30-40 each) was tough...but I lucked out when I found these Christmas baskets on clearance at World Market. They cost $3 each!

After removing the plaid liner, I spray painted the baskets a cute watermelon pink.

Then I remade the liners with this fun fabric that I found at Seasons of Home in Midway.
(I LOVE their material, it's always so hard to pick just one.)
I'm actually kind of proud of myself for sewing the new liners because I don't sew.
The only instruction I've ever had was 7th grade Home Ec. :)

I finished the dresser up with these cute knobs that I also found at World Market.
The knobs that came with it were boring and cheap looking.

Here is the almost finished changing table!
All we need now is the changing pad to go on top and the baby gear to fill up the baskets.
Can't wait!
