She scootches on her back.
She's started saying goos and gahs.
She laughs at the pug.
She loves walks in the stroller.
She loves to be in her carrier, if she is facing out.
She puts EVERYTHING in her mouth.
She loves to pull Mommy's hair.
She also loves to pull Mommy's glasses off.
She fits is 3-6 month onesies and 6-9 month jammies.
Her eyes look like they might be turning hazel.
She can sit up with help, but leans too far forward when I let go.
She loves to screech and scream.
She laughs at the pug.
She still loves her Johnny Jumper.
She loves her new Exersaucer.
She loves the swimming pool.
She loves going jogging with me.
She is getting cuter and cuter everyday!

We sure love our Sweet Angel!
I still can't believe she is ours.

30x30 Revisited.

My 30th birthday is quickly approaching.  (Eeek!)
When I moved up to Heber almost 2 years ago I made a list of things I wanted to accomplish by the time I exited my 20s.
Here's the list:

1. Have a baby
2. See the Northern Lights
3. Learn to SCUBA dive
4. Hike to the top of Timpanogos

13. Finally get my AS degree
14. Become a baker...pies, breads, cookies...
15. Get good enough at fly fishing that I can go by myself
16. Lope through the poles
17. Run on a horse around the whole race track
18. Go to the Festival of Colors
19. Backpack into Havasu Falls
20. Learn to knit and/or crochet
21. Learn to play Rachmaninoff's Prelude in c# minor

Hmmm...4 out of 21 isn't that bad, right? *blush*

I must say though, I was able to accomplish the very most important thing on this list.

I think instead of dwelling on the 26 things I haven't done yet, I would like to think of 30 things I have done.

1. I graduated from High School
2. I managed a restaurant
3. I worked in Ireland
4. I married my soul mate
5. I've owned a house
6. I own a grand piano
7. I learned to ride a horse
8. I've been to California at least 9 times
9. I've been to 2 BCS bowl games

12. I sang the National Anthem at our horse shows 3 years in a row
13. I am a member of Bells on Temple Square
14. I have been in the MoTab Christmas concert 3 times
15. I've been on TV (Music and the Spoken Word)
16. I've hiked to the top of Grandeur Peak
17. I've completed all of the music courses necessary for and AS in music
18. I left the city I grew up in to move to Heber
19. I taught myself how to play the flute
20. I've recorded music in a recording studio
21. I hiked to Desolation Lake from Millcreek Canyon (11 miles RT)
22. I've been to Hawaii
23. I was in Slcc's Chamber Choir
24. I was in the Salt City Jazz Choir
25. I've run 4 (I think) 5ks
26. I've run 3 10ks
27. I've been to the top of Angel's Landing 3 times
28. I've hiked Hole in the Rock 2 times
29. I've had the same best friend for 25 years
30. I had the cutest, sweetest, most beautiful baby girl on the planet!

I've accomplished so much in this little life of mine.  That other list can be my new bucket list.  I'm sure I will keep adding to it!
Thank you to all of my family and friends who have helped give me the best 30 years ever.
Here's to 30 more!

4 Months

I can't believe Kel is 4 months old!  Her time outside of me is sure going faster than her time inside!

She laughs a lot.
She sticks her bum up in the air while doing tummy time.
She loves to grab onto things all pull.
She loves her baths.
She loves her feet.  Her socks are often wet because she's been sucking on them.
She loves to sit up in her swing, bumbo, and jumper.
She would rather sit up than lay down.
She is starting to feel some stranger anxiety.
She is finally starting to fit into 3-6 month clothes.
She always has a smile for her daddy.
She loves to be outside.
Her eyes are still gray, though they seem to change colors throughout the day.
She loves to play with toys.
She can hold her own bottle.

3 Months

My baby is 3 months old today!
She is still as smiley as ever.  Russell calls her Smiles.
She sleeps through the night, waking up around 5:30 to eat, then sleeps for 2-3 more hours.
She went to her first rodeo last weekend and did great.
She was awake for most of the time but fell asleep for the fireworks.
She has rolled over from back to front once and front to back 6 times.
She can hold her head up really well.
Everything she grabs on to goes right in her mouth.
She puts weight on her legs when I stand her up.
She slept all night in her crib for the first time last night.
Her big huge grins will melt your heart.
She laughed for the first time for her Uncle Trevor.
She loves to reach for her hanging toys.
She had her first day at the river with Great Grandma, Aunt Amy, Uncle Trevor, and her cousin Andie.
She still fits into some of her newborn clothes.  0-3 month clothes fit and she is just starting to wear 3 month outfits.  3-6 month clothes are still pretty big.
She is my Sunshine, Darling, Princess, Pretty, Angel, and Beautiful Girl.
We love this girl more everyday.

Happy Father's Day

Russell is the best daddy!
He was smitten from day one (as seen here.)
and has over 1,000 pictures on his phone to prove it.

Here are some pictures that I took.
At the hospital.
On those first nights, he was the only one who could soothe her cries.
So little.
In their favorite spot.
(The rocking chair in the nursery.)
Having a snooze.
Blessing Day
Matchy matchy in purple.
Father's Day

This is an amazing man.  He helps feed and change her (even the poopy diapers),
he helps out around the house when he can see I am getting overwhelmed,
and he'll even quit his video game just for Keladry cuddles.
Kel loves her dad and always has a special smile for him when he gets home from work.
I don't know how we got so lucky!
Happy Father's Day Russell,
We love you!

Blessing Day

What a special day.
Keladry was blessed by her daddy on
June 3, 2012
in our home ward, The Old Mill Ward.
She was blessed in the dress and moccasins that I wore on my blessing day.
Russ was joined in the circle by
Grandpa Howard
Grandpa Sorenson
Uncle Jesse
Uncle Gary
Uncle Phil
Uncle Remington
Uncle Randy
Uncle Don
Uncle Ron
Uncle Nelson
Cousin Josh
Cousin Jared
Cousin Jon
Jake Riley
and
Bishop Dow
(So many!)

Kel was such a happy girl that morning and was talking and kicking so much that I couldn't tie her shoes without help from daddy.
She was so quiet during her blessing and spent the rest of Sacrament Meeting being held by her
Aunt Amy, Aunt Lynn, and Great Grandma Howard.
Russ and I both bore our testimonies as well as Grandpa Howard, Cousin JD, and Cousin Elease.
While I was speaking, Amy held Kel up so I could see her.  I swear she was looking right at me.  It was very touching.

After the meeting we went to my mom and dad's house for yummy food.
Kel spent the day being passed from person to person.

Keladry Hope is so blessed to have so many people who love her.
Thanks to all those who drove to Heber to spend this special day with us.
